The Linothorax is the unlockable armor worn by the Spartan and is unlocked by defeating your own warrior in arcade mode. It provides only slightly better speed than the Bronze Cuirass, and is weaker in all three forms of protection.

Layers of linen or canvas were glued together, with metal plates inserted between the layers to give a muscular appearance. Lighter and less effective than a bronze cuirass; however, it gave greater mobility.
